Just want you to know how much I enjoyed hearing you speak this evening at the Bahi center in Encino. If you have a chance would you let me know what ego meant. It stood for something, I just don't remember what it was. You know thats the first thing that goes. Thanx

Back home in Portland after my third visit to the Lone Pine Film Festival. I enjoyed visiting with you and your wife as you signed a copy of your recent autobiography (I'm on Chapter 5). It was great to meet both of you. I don't expect you to remember me out of the many people you saw over the festival weekend. I mentioned being originally from Klamath Falls, where my brother still lives. Also enjoyed the panel discussions and the one one one interview you took part in. My best to both of you. Lane

Bob , I just received my copy of "Out Of Hollywood" and finished it in one night . If anyone wonders about the story of " The Double Edged Sword " ... growing up as the son of a hugely popular actor and the personal struggle after losing that lynch-pin of your life much too early ... This is the book to read ! The frankly written story of your successes , failures , and final personal triumph is one I can reccommend to anyone who who may be looking to find their way . Best Aways ... Dean
