Glenveagh Properties PLC since 2017, which builds modern, affordable, premium quality homes in flourishing areas throughout Ireland.

 

Glenveagh has quickly returned to profit post-covid and developing strategic joint ventures with local authorities for residential schemes as well as developing its own land, Glenveagh is poised for growth.

Dalata Hotels since it’s successful IPO in 2014 has become Ireland’s largest hotel operator with 40 Irish hotels, and over 6,000 rooms. Our CEO is a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit committee.


CEO Robert Dix has also been Chairman of Bank of Ireland Private Banking, part of The Bank of Ireland Group, a private wealth management initiative. He is a non-executive Director of Actavo and former Director/Chairman of the audit committee of Allianz Ireland.

 

As a senior partner for many years at KPMG, he brings a vast experience in corporate advisory.

 

Robert was a Director of Center Parcs Ireland, the hugely ambitious and ultimately successful, €200m resort in Longford, Ireland and was also Chairman of The Grafton Group from 2011.

 

He also worked as Chairman of Carbon Finance Limited, a Blackstone subsidiary,  which purchased one of the largest property portfolios sold by NAMA.

 

Robert is a Director and Chairman of The Audit Committee for Western Union Payment Services since 2019, a major subsidiary of the famed company founded in Denver, Colorado in 1851.

And in 2013 Robert was appointed Chairman of The ‘Harnessing Our Ocean Wealth Development’ Task Force by Marine Minister Simon Coveney, producing a report which is the genesis of many of the marine initiatives, we are witnessing today.
